About Erik
Creativity is the innate desire for there to be something that wasn’t there a moment ago.
All the writer has to do is show up and put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard).
I often find myself halfway through reading a book when my imagination starts taking the story in another direction entirely.
The story of
Erik Daniel Boudreau
For seemingly as long as he could read, Erik has enjoyed writing. From creating real-world stories with grounded characters to building and exploring entirely new worlds, Erik has always loved getting lost in a good story.
From suspenseful thrillers to epic fantasy to comedic feature-length screenplays (and everything in between), Erik is always interested to see where his imagination will take him next.
When not buried in his laptop, Erik enjoys gardening, exercising, and exploring the world with his wife and daughter. He lives cat just outside Vancouver, British Columbia, surrounded by trees, mountains, water, and the occasional black bear.

From humble beginnings…
It doesn’t really get much more humble than this:
A poem professing Erik’s love of (80’s) TV, and a short story with sincere, suspenseful intent titled “The Shadow Creature”.
